A MESSAGE TO ALL VICTIMS/ WITNESSES OF CRIME IN STRAFFORD COUNTY
The needs and concerns of crime victims deserve special attention. Crime victims often experience emotional distress including fear, anger, confusion, depression, and anxiety. These are not uncommon reactions in the aftermath of a crime but also in the face of navigating a justice system that can be unfamiliar and daunting.
Witnesses to crime can also feel nervous about what will be required of them by the criminal justice system. In order to help guide you or your family through the criminal justice process as a victim or witness, the Strafford County Attorney’s Office has a Victim Assistance Program.
